Doris Nan Brannon Oxenreider, age 65 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, in a local hospital. Born on April 24, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Al and Nora Brannon. In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her son Kristopher Oxenreider and her siblings, Cindy Henderson, Sheila Norton, and Al Brannon.

Doris was happiest when she was with her family.  She retired from Wal-Mart where she was a department manager. During her vacation time, she enjoyed going to the beach and the mountains with her family.  When Doris was able, tending to her flower garden brought her much enjoyment, and she especially loved her roses and wild flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Sam Oxenreider; one daughter, Denise Watkins; sons, George (Bridget) Oxenreider, and Aaron Oxenreider; her precious grandchildren: Jennifer Brown, Ethan Johnson, Colton Holtzclaw, Andon Oxenreider, Kaelyn Oxenreider, Camden Oxenreider, Ellisa Oxenreider, Kaden Oxenreider, and Levi Oxenreider.  Also surviving are 2 great grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Tina) Brannon; her aunt, Sue (Ridley) Redding and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Doris Oxenreider will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 4:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Brannon officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brannon-Perryman Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
