Mrs. Donnie Marie Lucas, age 94, of Valrico, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. She was born in Hague, Florida on Wednesday, September 12, 1923. Mrs. Lucas was the daughter of the late Alfred E. Peacock and the late Bertha (Feagle) Peacock. Besides her parents, Mrs. Lucas is preceded in death by her husband, Everett E. Lucas and by her great granddaughter, Meagan Shartzer.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Ione Lucas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Reba Ann Willett, Lourie and Mike Shartzer, and Jane Ellen and Dan Houston; one brother, Alfred E. Peacock; her grandchildren and their spouses, Connie Willett, Andrea and Stacey Collins, David and Karen Shartzer, Todd Shartzer, Rebecca Shartzer, Veronica Houston, Danielle Houston, Dawn and Marlin Herberg, Mary Lu and Jim Mullin, Tracie and Tim Templeman, Elizabeth Lucas and Troy Rumbell; her great grandchildren, David Hogge, Abbigail Collins, Jonah Shartzer, Adriana Shartzer, Ashley Shartzer, Timothy Millard, Elizabeth Shartzer, Audrey Ortiz, Michael Herberg, Trent Herberg, Shelby Lynn Haag, Dakota Haag, Kaylee D. Templeman, and Emily S. Templeman; her great great grandchildren, Reese Glenn, Keanon E. Herberg, and Gideon U. Hudgins.

In accordance with the family's wishes, Mrs. Lucas was cremated.

Memorial services will be conducted from St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Brandon, Florida on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 4 P.M. with Reverend J.C. Powell officiating.

Interment will follow on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10 A.M. from Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
