Donnie Dewayne Braswell, age 49 of Temple, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024.  Born on April 14, 1975, he was the son of the late Jimmy Braswell and the late Donna McElroy.  Donnie is also preceded in death by his step-mother, Barbara Braswell and his sister, Stacey Michelle Richards.

Donnie had a huge personality.  He enjoyed all types of music, but in particular theatrical music and opera.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed reading, cooking, and attending the theater. Donnie's passion was helping people and it showed in his occupation as a registered nurse.  When he had vacation time from his employment at Haralson Nursing & Rehab, he enjoyed traveling. Donnie will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Kimberly Dawn Richards of Waco, and his extended family and many friends.

A memorial service for Donnie Braswell will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 6:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Homer Wysner officiating and Josh Noble delivering the eulogy.

The gathering time for family and friends will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
