Donna Dianne Ratley

Donna Dianne Martin Ratley, affectionately known as Peaches, departed this life on April 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by laughter, love, and cherished memories. Born on August 19, 1959, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Martin and the late Cordie Posey Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dottie Robinson, Carolyn Harville, Debbie Martin and Teresa Martin and her brother, Paul Parrish.

Throughout her years, Peaches found immense joy in simple pleasures: playing with her grandchildren, riding along quiet dirt roads, floating gently down the river, and filling the air with her ever-present singing. She was also a devoted cook, pouring love into every meal she prepared, and she shared a special bond with her beloved cats. Peaches lived a life filled with joy and a spirit that could brighten any room. Those who knew her remember how she loved to laugh, a trait that defined her warm and vibrant personality.

Donna’s family was the heart of her world. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter, Amanda Williams of Carrollton; her son, Christopher Martin, and his wife, Diann Daniel, of Tallapoosa; her fiancé, Charles Williams; and her precious grandchildren: Dalton Reynolds, Delanny Reynolds, Jacob Williams, Lance Martin, Brantley Martin, Jadeann Garner, Tyler Dawson, and Kaylee Dawson, each holding a piece of Donna’s loving spirit within their hearts. She also leaves behind beloved great-grandchildren Bentley Yancey and Cora Mulhern; her sisters, Linda Farmer and Edna Mann; her brother Lance Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will host a celebration of her life at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at West Georgia Worship Center with Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating along with the family.  They will receive friends at WGWC from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the funeral home to help with Donna's final expenses.  You may contribute on our home page, by calling with a card, or by sending a check.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
