Donna Jean Pope Blair, age 71 of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. She was born in Atlanta on June 17, 1952 to the late Ernest Wilbur Pope and the late Mary E. (Tina) Seymour Pope. Donna found great joy in making crafts and at one time enjoyed cooking, but most of all she loved her family.

Survivors include her spouse, Philip Alan Whiting of Carrollton; daughter, Sonya Hope Green Tucker of Pinedale, WY; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Ricky Nalley of Bremen; brother and sister-in-law, David and Charlene Pope of Rockmart; grandchildren, Rachel Tucker, Taylor Green, Tyler Green and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Donna's wishes she will be cremated.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from Living By Faith Church, 40 Mulberry St. Newnan, GA 30263 at 11:00 AM. with Terry Calhoun officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Shriners Children's Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
