Donald Lee Swann, age 73 of Bremen, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 15, 2025.  Born in Polk County on September 1,  1951, he was the son of the late Talmadge Parks Swann and the late Virginia Bolden Swann.  In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by a grandchild, Madison Swan, his sisters, Peggy Swann, Suzie Holloway, and Pam Butler, and his brothers, Roy Swann, Charles Swann, Jimmy Swann, and Larry Swann.

Donald was a talented wood craftsman and worked in construction for many years. In his spare time he created amazing wood cars and truck on a corvette chassis.  Donald enjoyed driving and spent many enjoyable hours chauffeuring his precious grandchildren to school and other activities. A people person who enjoyed talking to everyone, he spent his last years in customer service working with his son at the tire shop.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Johnny Swan, and his grandchildren, Jonathan Swan, Jordan Swan, and Nathan Swan.  Also surviving is a sister, Pat Newborn, and a brother, Tony Swan, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Donald Swann will be conducted on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Swann officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Polk County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from noon until 2:00 P.M.
