Mr. Donald William Scara, age 65, of Bremen passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011. Mr. Scara was born in Bement, IL on April 21, 1945. He was the son of the late Joseph Phillip Scara and the late Juanita Mae Musson Scara. Mr. Scara was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was a construction worker. Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Scara of Chicago, Cindy Scara of Chicago and Juanita Scara of Bremen; one son, Donald Scara, Jr. of Bremen; four step-sons, Brandon Sanders of Buchanan, Jonathan Cash of Bremen, Joshua Cash of Bremen and Delbert Cash of Ranburne, AL; two brothers, Joseph Scara of Chicago and Jim Scara of Alabama; twelve grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery with military honors. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
