Bessie Dianne Monroe McKenzie, age 79 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025, in a local hospital.  Born in Bremen on October 4, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Emory Monroe and the late Lorene Eidson Monroe.  In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Ragland.

Dianne spent most of her life helping others through her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She loved to crochet and later in life spent hours coloring.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Vernice Moore of Ranburne and Samantha Mathews of Heflin; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Dianne's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan
