Dewey Earl Roberts, age 81 of Temple, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born on March 2, 1941 in Pence Springs, WV to the late Dewey Roberts and Willie D. Adkins Roberts. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Meadows Roberts; grandson, Joshua McDurmon; sister, Shelby Jean Roberts; brothers, Tom Roberts, Billy Roberts, Jim Roberts and Henry Eskins.

Survivors include, his daughter, Jeannie Roberts McClure and Randy Mouchet; grandchildren, Jessica McDurmon and Adam McClure both of Buchanan; sister, Ruth Baxter of Temple; brother, George and Vicki Roberts of Carrollton and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Corky Addison and Shane McDurmon officiating. Interment will follow Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with the following serving as pallbearers: Josh Johnson, Jared Johnson, David Johnson, Chad Ezelle, Jerry Broome, Phil Drummond and Gary Singleton. Honorary pallbearer will be Shane McDurmon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
