Mr. Dewey Lloyd "Buddy" Lyle, age 69, of Waco passed away Friday, October 19, 2012. Mr. Lyle was born in Polk County on June 2, 1943. He was the son of the late Rufus Elmer Lyle and the late Inez Ford Lyle. Mr. Lyle was self-employed in the scrap metal business.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Lawanda and Jimmy Folsom of Buchanan, Pam and Barry Folds of Roopville and Melissa and Todd Abercrombie of Tallapoosa; one son, Randy (and his late wife Karol) of Waco; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 22, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Robert Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating at the graveside. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Preston Abercrombie, Blake Abercrombie, Todd Abercrombie, Corey Lyle, Jimmy Folsom and Phillip Brett. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Justin Lyle.

The family will receive friend at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7:00 P.M.
until 9:00 P.M. and Sunday from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.
