Derek Brian Harris, age 55 of Bowdon, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Born on September 6, 1969, he was the son of the late Cecil Harris and the late Linda Lou Clayton Harris.

Derek was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and playing miniature golf.  Watching movies was another one of his favorite pastimes.  Derek also adored his dog, Archie, whom he affectionately referred to as "Pup Pup."  Those who loved Derek will miss him dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Adams Harris of Bowdon; sons and daughters-in-law, Zackery Harris of Bowdon, Spencer (Cheyanne) Harris of Carrollton, Nicholas Harris of Bowdon and Mason (Haley) Harris of Bremen; brother, David Harris and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes he will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
