Mr. Denver Lee Barker, age 69, of Temple passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Mr. Barker was born in Lincoln County, West Virginia on October 28, 1940. He was the son of the late Earnest Lyle Barker and the late Mary Barker. Mr. Barker was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired steel worker. Survivors include his wife, Gwen Wright Barker of Temple; two sons, Tracey Barker of McDonald, OH and Trever Barker of Connecticut; two sisters, Katherine Rogers of Knoxville, TN and Gerri Ann Clay of Alum Creek, WV; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. No services are planned. The body was cremated. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
