Dennis Lamar Raines, age 33 of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. He was born on February 16, 1988 to Thomas Melvin Landers and Linda Newborn.

Survivors include besides his parents; two sisters, Mary Raines of Aragon and Carmen Raines (Matt Echols) of Rockmart; three brothers, Melvin Raines of Rockmart, Corey Landers of Buchanan and Richard Raines of Douglasville and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Reverend George Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Corey Landers, Melvin Raines, Wayne Landers, Matt Echols, Hunter Lesko and Lonnie McKinney.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour.
