Mr. Dennis Frank McEver, age 71, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016.  Mr. McEver was born in Cartersville, Georgia on December 26, 1944.  He was the son of the late Frank McEver and the late Rosella Bivens McEver.  Mr. McEver was retired from Cobb EMC.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jake Ray.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Sue Turner McEver of Buchanan; two daughters, Lida McEver and her husband, Kenneth Haley and Lisa and her husband, Kyle Flynt all of Buchanan; two sisters, Ann Hilburn of Kingston and Lynn and Junior Kennedy of Acworth; five grandchildren, Kalie Flynt, Tyler McEver, Kylie Flynt and Katelyn Flynt; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial with Rev. Darrell Bailey and Mr. Steve Nunley officiating.  Interment will follow in the McEver-Turner Family Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tyler McEver, Kenny Haley, Tandy Turner, Wendell Turner, Corkey Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, Ross Kennedy and Colby Sides.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
