Eula Denise Worthy, age 63 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at her residence.  Born in Bremen on August 28, 1961, she was the daughter of the late William Delbert McClure and the late Agnes Bennett McClure.  In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her sisters, Gail McClure and Starla McClure; and her brother, Jim McClure.

Denise worked for more than 17 years at Sony Music in Carrollton.  After their closing, she was employed in security for 18 years at Walmart.com.  She enjoyed traveling, and the North Carolina mountains were her favorite destination.  Her guilty pleasure was traveling to casinos.  She will be deeply missed by her family and those who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Robert Worthy; her children, Britni Worthy of Bremen, Chad Worthy of Buchanan, Tristan Worthy of Tallapoosa and Preston Worthy of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Jace Worthy and Charleigh Worthy; and her brothers, Brett McClure and Bart McClure.

In keeping with Denise's wishes, she will be cremated.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
