Delores Ann Muse Martinez, age 71 of Villa Rica, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, in a local hospital.  Born in Charleston, South Carolina, on August 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Preston Milton Muse, Sr. and the late Betty Lou Evans McFarland.  In addition to her parents, Delores is preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Guillard.

Delores completed her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and had worked several years as a paraprofessional.  She enjoyed crafting and working in her garden tending to her plants. Baking was her specialty and she loved sharing her desserts with her family and neighbors.  Delores also enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends and doing volunteer work with the church.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and with those who called her Grandma.

Her survivors include her daughters, Linda Linton, Heidi Davis of Oregon and Candice Worth of Villa Rica; her son Jimmy Williams of Washington; and her precious grandchildren: Brie, Cheyenne, Tasha, Tessa, Keilen, Tanner, Carsten, Taylor, Tucker, Tanner, Bella, Ava, and Vivienne.  She is also survived by her sister, Linda Jo Hendrix of Oklahoma; her brother, Bubba Muse of Villa Rica; and nine great-grandchildren, as well as other extended family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, Delores will be cremated. Her family is planning to honor her life at a later date.
