Mrs. Della Lee Hudson Nation, age 83, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012. Mrs. Nation was born in Pickens County on August 7, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Joe Hudson and the late Ida Stinnett Hudson. Mrs. Nation was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Nation.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Bell of Tallapoosa; one son, Raymond Nation of Tallapoosa; one sister, Martha Denney of Acworth; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Tallapoosa Church of God with Rev. J.W. Parker, Rev. Wayne Reddish and Rev. Jerry Denney officiating. Interment will follow in Hinton Community Cemetery, Hinton, Georgia.

The remains will lie in state at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
