Ms. Delana Fidelia Hendrix, age 46, of 214 Lambert St., Carrollton passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Ms. Hendrix was born in Carroll County on October 30, 1962. She was employed by HL-A of Bremen. Ms. Hendrix was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hendrix; maternal grandmother, Inice W. Jones; maternal grandfather, Burpee Jones; paternal grandmother, Maude Hendrix; and paternal grandfather, Joe Hendrix. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Shatavia (Calvin) Davis of Carrollton, and Robyn Hendrix of Carrollton ; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gwendolyn (Charles) Thomas of Carrollton and Geraldine (Wayne) Jackson of Union City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sylvester (Arlena) Hendrix of Carrollton and Aubrey (Rita) Hendrix of Fayetteville; mother, Gladys Jones Hendrix of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Justin Davis, Andraiya Hendrix and Isaiah Lancaster; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from First Baptist Church of Carrollton on Old Bremen Road with Reverend Charles Thomas and Pastor Bradley Bell officiating.
