Ms. Debra Denise Ray Allen, age 63, of Carrollton passed away Friday March 23, 2018.  Ms. Allen was born in Tallapoosa, Georgia, on May 24, 1954.  She was the daughter of the late Henry Ray and the late Dorothy Jones Wilkinson.  Ms. Allen was a 1971 graduate of Haralson County High School.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Byrd; and one daughter, Kelsie Denise Allen.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Chris McCray of Carrollton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Charles Wilkinson of Bowdon, and Ronda and Eddie Ferguson of Tallapoosa; one brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Dollene Ray of Cedartown; two grandchildren, Trevor McCray and Connor McCray; and a number of other relatives.

The family will conduct a memorial service Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from Shiloh United Methodist Church in Carrollton with Rev. Justin Richards officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
