Deborah Lynn Wade, age 61 of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, Jun 18, 2024.  Born in Kentucky on June 20, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Jack Lyons and Gloria Lyons. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Teri Lyons.

Deborah had a heart of gold and loved everyone unconditionally.  In her high school days in Kentucky, she was captain of the cheerleaders, played softball and participated in gymnastics.  Deborah loved the color purple and especially purple butterflies.  Even though she was fiesty, she also was one to forgive easily.  Her family was her pride and joy, especially her grandchildren, and her love of the Lord shone through every day.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Gloria Lyons; children: Misty (Brad) Decker, Heather (Adam) Tucker, Kimberly Johnson, and Brianna (Allen Argo) Wade; and 14 grandchildren.  Also surviving are her brothers Jack Lyons and Keith Lyons, as well as other extended family and friends.

The family will host a celebration of Deborah's life, including a pot luck dinner, on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at White Oak Park, Pavilion #2, located at 298 Mustang Drive, Dallas, GA.  In honor of Deborah's favorite colors, they ask that you wear purple and yellow.
