Mrs. Daxa R. Patel of Carrollton, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in India on October 1, 1949, to parents Bhagabhai Patel and Bhuliben Patel.  In addition to her parents, Daxa is predeceased by her husband, Ratilal N. Patel to whom she was married on March 11, 1969.

Mrs. Patel loved taking care of her family and home and was an accomplished seamstress.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling.

Her survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law:  Bela and Chetan Patel of Kissimmee, FL; Rita and Devendra Patel of Carrollton, GA; Asha and Kanak Patel of Parsons, KS; Priti and Rajiv Amin of Morris Plains, NJ; and Amita and Rishin Patel of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Savitaben Patel of Mississippi; Maniben Patel of Texas; Manjulaben and Sureshbhai Patel of Tennessee; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Bhulabhai and Kusumben Patel of Tennessee; Jayantibhai and Shakuntlaben Patel of Tennessee; and Dipakbhai and Bakulaben Patel of Georgia.  Daxa is also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Daxa Patel will be conducted Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 10:00 AM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel in Buchanan.
