Mr. David Allen White age 70, of Monroe went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 18, 2024. David was born Saturday, April 17, 1954, in Atlanta to the late Leo White and Opal Byess White. He graduated Stockbridge High School in the class of 1972. David excelled in his field as a Master Electrician forming the company Electric MD, working as an Electrical Contractor for over 30 years. He also retired as an Electrical Inspector working 10 years for Dekalb County. He coached Little League baseball in the Walton County community for many years. He was active in the Reformers Unanimous(RU) Ministry where he served as a counselor. David loved the outdoors and enjoyed rodeo bull riding, horseback riding, hunting, fishing and camping. He also adored spending time with family and friends. Most importantly, David was a devoted Christian and loved Jesus Christ with all his heart.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years; Sarilda Ruff White, daughters; Lindy Moore Dean and Angela Moore Meek, grandchildren; Austin Wooddell, Carly Dean, and Alyssa Wooddell, great grandchildren; Brantley Neal and Kynleigh Carden, brothers; Tim White, Michael(Demeris) White, Scott(Marilyn) White, sisters; Barbara(Norman) Wilkins, Janice(Tommy) Dearing, Lynn Evans, brother-in-laws; Kim(Kathy) Ruff, Edward(Josephine) Ruff, David(Carla) Ruff, sister-in-law; DeAnn Ruff, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Along with his parents, David is predeceased by his son, David Brannon White, who passed away in April 2020.

In keeping with the family's wishes, he will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at the White's residence, Sunday, September 8, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM. The family would also love for the ones who can to bring plants/flowers to plant in the Family Memorial Garden in honor of David.
