Mr. David Edwin Venable, age 57, of Tallapoosa passed away Friday, February 28, 2014.  Mr. Venable was born in Carroll County on March 24, 1955.  He was the son of the late Cecil Henry Venable and the late Burnize Ayers Venable.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Sammy Venable.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Venable and Chrissy Robbins of Hiram; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Tommy Webb of Tallapoosa and Maxine and Ray Darnell of Brandon, FL; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Ann Venable of Ragland, AL, Kenneth and Tammy Venable of Douglasville and Randy and Susan Venable of Mableton; aunt, Opal Ayers of Carrollton; one grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services and interment will follow at a later date at Center Point Cemetery, Temple, Georgia.

In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, his remains are cremated.
