Mr. David Wayne Smith, age 54, of Carrollton passed away Monday, February 3, 2014.  Mr. Smith was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 25, 1959.  He was the son of the late Thomas Alver Smith and the late Etheleen Juanita Wood Smith.

Survivors include one daughter, Jerri Vaughn; one son, Scott Vaughn; one sister, Brenda Faye Henry of Carrollton; four brothers, James Smith of Carrollton, Roy Smith of Bremen, Tommy Smith of Bowdon and Eddie Smith of Carrollton; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangments.
