Obituary

Mr. David Lee Reddish, age 40, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016.  Mr. Reddish was born in Carrollton, Georgia on October 4, 1975.  He was employed as a journeyman press operator at Ball Manufacturing.  Mr. Reddish was a 1994 graduate of Haralson County High School where he marched in the Rebel Band.  He had a passion for music and was an expert drum player.  Many people found their passion for drums from him.


Survivors include his wife, Christy Jiles Reddish of Tallapoosa; one daughter, Natalie Reddish of Tallapoosa; two step-sons, Justin Folsom of Bremen and Mathew Folsom of Columbus; parents, Wayne and Dianne Brooks Reddish Tallapoosa; one sister, Heather Reddish of Villa Rica; and a number of other relatives.


Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Tallapoosa Church of God with Rev. Leonard Williams and Rev. Cliff Hendrix officiating.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chris Cates, Eddie Heuer, Brian Ridley, Justin Folsom, Dale Brooks and David Pippin.


Mr. Reddish will be taken to the Church to lie in state Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
