Mr. David Brian Horovitz, age 54, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Mr. Horovitz was born in Atlanta on November 5, 1957. He was the son of the late Buddy Horovitz and Elaine Sherman Horovitz. Mr. Horovitz was a United States Military Veteran and was a paramedic with Med-Stat Emergency Medical Services. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Bentley Horovitz.

Survivors include three daughters, Erin Horovitz of Rome, Erica Horovitz of Rome and Katelyn Horovitz of Buchanan; one son, Joshua Horovitz of Buchanan; one sister, Lyn Goldson of Savannah; one brother, Steve Sherman of Savannah; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. from Mount Zion East Baptist Church.
