David Allen Calder, age 67 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020. He was born on June 4, 1953 to the late William Calder and the late Jacqueline Padgett Calder. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Melisa Hill and sister, Karen Calder.

Survivors include his wife Debra Calder; daughter and sons-in-law, Amanda and Greg Bryant of Tallapoosa and Jeff Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Courtney Calder of Fayetteville; sister, Debbie Brannon of South Carolina; brother, Bill and Cristin Calder of Miami; six grandchildren, Andrew Hill, Kyle Hill, Julieanne Hill, Logan Calder, Zaiden Bryant, Ryland Bryant and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Mr. Calder's wishes he was cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Helton- Howland Park off Highway 78 in Tallapoosa at 10:30 AM.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation.
