Mrs. Darlene Turner Skidmore, age 70, of Bremen passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011. Mrs. Skidmore was born in Haralson County on June 12, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Warner Turner and the late Eunice Entrekin Turner. Mrs. Skidmore was a retired dietary supervisor with Countryside Health Center. Survivors include her husband, William J. Skidmore of Bremen; one sister, Bernice Johnson of Bremen; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 25, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from the Graveside at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
