Ms. Darlene Ann Hammontree Garner, age 57, of Villa Rica passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015.  Ms. Garner was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 1, 1958.  She was the daughter of the late Melvin Hammontree and the late Edna Grindell Hammontree.  Besides her parents, she was preceded death by one daughter, Regina London; and two brothers, Donald Grindell and Danny Hammontree.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Todd Crook of Tallapoosa and Vanessa and Rickey Pugh of Temple; two sisters, Debra Adams of Young Harris and Denise Robson of Pell City, AL; five grandchildren, Ethan Pugh, Peytun Pugh, Hunter Shope, Makayla Pugh and Cooper Crook; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Allen Wilburn officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Darlene be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY  10016.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
