Damien Andrew Knipl, age 39 of Douglasville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Villa Rica, Georgia, on February 28, 1986, he was the son of Dana Andrew Knipl and the late Mary Kathy Cox Knipl.
Damien worked for several years with Plateau Excavation in the mechanic shop. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and panning for gold. Always the tinkerer, he spent many hours working on cars and enjoyed gaming. Damien loved his family and his favorite activity was spending time with them and playing with his children.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Chastity Reynolds Knipl; his precious children: Violet Knipl and Magnolia Knipl; his father, Dana Knipl; his sisters, Kathy Cooper and Jessica Knipl; and his brother Dana Knipl. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Joey Robinson, Haley Bennett, Jaylnn Knipl, Tiffany Robinson, Alexis Knipl, Zayden Cooper, Jayson Cooper, Shelbi Robinson, and Gracelynn Robinson, as well as extended family and friends.
In keeping with Damien's wishes, he was cremated. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Damien's family respectfully asks that in honoring him you consider a donation to the funeral home to help offset the expenses. Donations may be made to the funeral home in person, via phone, or on our website through the Payment Center on the home page.
