Clydie Lou Cote, age 83 of Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was born on February 19, 1939 in Portal, GA to the late Jesse Gordon Brown and the late Ruby Smith Brown. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Buxton; siblings, June Sapp and Don Jenkins; two grandchildren, Rheanna Buxton and Dennis Carson; bonus child, Bob Zimmerman.

Survivors include, her children, Sheree Yazie of Washington, Jessica Dent of New Mexico, Ricky Wayne Buxton of Carrollton, Janice Marie Dunn and Ricky of Bowdon and Brian and Deanna Buxton of Carrollton; siblings, Kerry Jenkins, J. Gordon Brown and Peggy Floyd; grandchildren, Jarred Yazzie, Jason Yazzie, Samantha McRae, Wayne Buxton, Ricky Marshall, Tiffany Jean Glaze, Kaleb Shaw, Madison Buxton, Steven Wilkins, Ariel Suggs, Taylor Buxton and several great grandchildren; bonus children, Pamela Schumann and Marie Everson and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Clydie's wishes she will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM.
