Mr. Clyde Eugene Shirey, age 80 of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was born on May 27, 1939 in Gadsden, AL to the late Waymon Shirey and the late Meggie Mae Harris Shirey. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda McIntosh; great grandchild, David George; Clay George (husband of granddaughter Julie George); four sisters, Barbara Jacobs, Juanita Watson, Janet Dixon and Joyce Shirey and one brother, William (Bill) Shirey.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Thornton Shirey of Villa Rica; three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Randy Spradlin, Vicki Hand and Kevin Boatright and Sheila and Richard Vasser; one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and April Shirey; one sister, Linda Little; one brother, Jimmy Shirey; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

In keeping with Mr. Shirey's wishes he will be cremated.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
