Mr. Clyde Herman Garner, age 66, of 159 Mt. Zion Church Rd., Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007. Mr. Garner was born in Haralson County May 19, 1940. He was the son of the late Toy Garner and the late Josie Bishop Garner. Mr. Garner was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from the Lockheed Martin Company. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Eaves. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Morris Garner of Tallapoosa; one daughter and son-in-law, Buffy and Darin Stites of Orange Park, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Pam Garner of Tallapoosa; four brothers, Edward Garner of Buchanan, Billy Garner Villa Rica, Bobby Garner of Bremen and Johnny Garner of Acworth; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. from the Tallapoosa Church of God with Rev. Jason Spray and Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Interment will follow in the Garner Family Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Kevin Garner, Darin Stites, Ernest Wright, Robert Pike, Millard Chandler and Buren Webster. Military honors will be provided by the Haralson County Veteran''s Association. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
