Mr. Clyde Jasper Dudley, Jr., age 63, of 245 Dudley Rd., Buchanan passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Mr. Dudley was born in Polk County on April 22, 1945. He was the son of the late Clyde Jasper Dudley, Sr. and the late Lena Lynch Dudley. Mr. Dudley was the retired manager of the Blossman Gas Company in Buchanan. Survivors include his wife, Linda Dudley of Buchanan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Tim Dyer of Buchanan and Rhonda and Todd Couey of Cedartown; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and Roy Rogers of Bowdon; three grandchildren, Colby Dyer of Buchanan, Blake Dyer of Buchanan and Savannah Couey of Cedartown; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from New Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. Homer Hulsey and Rev. Aaron Johnson officiating. Music will be rendered by Jason Slaughter accompanied at the piano by Mark Wade. Interment will follow in the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Pope, Jerry Williams, Todd Couey, Tim Dyer, Colby Dyer and Blake Dyer. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
