Cleaster Ann Boyd, age 82 of Macon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in a healthcare facility.  Born in Haralson County on March 16, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Boyd and the late Madie Ware Boyd.  In addition to her parents, Cleaster is preceded in death by her siblings, Rosie Mae Boyd, Eunice Boyd, Frankie Styles, Curtis Boyd and Billy Ray Boyd.

Cleaster, a devout Christian woman, lived her faith daily by reading her Bible and praying for her family and anyone in need.  Living most of her her life in Buchanan, she dearly loved her large family. One of her greatest enjoyments was spoiling her nieces and nephews.  Cleaster was a member of the Greater St. James Church in Bremen.

Her survivors include two sisters, Jimmie Poole of Buchanan and Willie Mae White of NY; a brother, Donnie Lee Boyd of Buchanan; and several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Ms. Boyd's wishes, she will be cremated.
