Miss Claudia Raye Chafin, age 53, of Athens passed away Monday, April 2, 2012. Miss Chaffin was born in Atlanta on February 19th, 1959. She is preceded in death by her mother Annette Henley Chafin.

Survivors include her father Raymond Chafin; brother Jeffrey Ray Chafin; sister Sharon Anne Howell; and two nieces. Miss Chafin was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Athens Chapter.
