Mrs. Claudette Eula Lawson Miles, age 69, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Mrs. Miles was born in Rome, Georgia on December 17, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Eulie Lawson and the late Bama Walker Lawson. Mrs. Miles was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Alton "Tex" Miles.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and David Turner of Tallapoosa and Melody and Mike Loera of Fruithurst, AL; one son, Michael Alton Miles of Bremen; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Brother Ricky Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville, Alabama with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: David Turner, Mathew Turner, Mike Loera and Eric Loera.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
