Mrs. Claudean Bush Rowell, age 96, of 448 Club Drive, Buchanan passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009. Mrs. Rowell was born in Haralson County on April 10, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Daucie Eli Rowell and the late Elizabeth Barnwell Rowell. Mrs. Rowell was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mabry Bush; second husband, Troy Cleveland Rowell; and two brothers, Floyd Rowell and Cecil Rowell. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Doris Bush of Peachtree City and Jimmy and Janice Bush of Buchanan; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Troy Randal and Kay Rowell of Kathleen, GA and Gerald and Betty Rowell of Fort Valley, GA; one sister, Frances Newman of Buchanan; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. W.A. Ivie and Rev. Ronnie Holmes officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. W.A. Ivie and Jimmy Sanders. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Samuel Pope, Barry Newman, Bryan Rowell, Alan Rowell, Greg Rowell and Robert Bush. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
