Cindy Lynn Thornton Marlow, age 65 of Bowdon, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023. She was born in Rome on February 20, 1958, to the late Mack Thornton and the late Jacqueline Arnold Thornton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Mack Thornton.

A graduate of the Haralson County High School class of 1976, Cindy loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She had a great sense of humor and was an avid animal lover, especially to her dogs, Lucy, Jack, Karma, and Harley, as well as her great grand fur babies.  Two of Cindy's hobbies were shopping at thrift stores and making jewelry which she enjoyed wearing.  A lover of nature, she enjoyed flowers and watching the hummingbirds return.

Survivors include her daughter, Kehli Crews of Bremen; her son Jeremy Finnell of Louisiana;  her sisters, Patricia Robinson and Maxine McIntyre both of Tallapoosa; her brother, Chris Thornton of Tallapoosa; and her life partner and best friend, Richard Adams.  Also surviving are her precious grandchildren: Kahli Crews, Kaci Crews, Breanna Garon, Logan Finnell, Lance Finnell, Hagen Finnell, Colton Finnell, Brynlee Finnell, Madlyn Dupre, Caitlyn Dupre, Carter Anderson, Ethan Dupre and Brayden Anderson; as well as  several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
