Christopher John Hill, age 41 of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024.  Born in Marietta, Georgia, on July 3, 1983, he was the son of Jill Rowell Steele and the late James Robert Hill.

Chris was a simple man who loved fishing and working.  He found pleasure in working with his hands building things and cooking.  His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends laughing and listening to music.  He had a beautiful singing voice, but he never wanted to sing in public.  Chris loved his family and his Lord and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memories are his mom, Jill Steele of Cedartown; his baby daughter, Elsie Kade and her mother, Jessica Wilson; his sisters, Jessica & Allen King of Carrollton and Georgia Steele of Rome; and his brother, Robert Anthony Hill of Georgia.  Also surviving are his nieces, Brooklyn King, Braxlei Hill, and Bristol Hill; his nephew, Grayson King; and many, many friends.

Funeral services for Chris Hill will be conducted Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Jamie Anderson and Jimmy McKeral officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.  A private family interment will follow.
