Mrs. Christina Marie Akin Miller, age 42, of Owosso, Michigan, formerly of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.  Mrs. Miller was born in Villa Rica, Georgia, on February 26, 1975.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Miller; and mother, Sheila Laminack Akin.

Survivors include four daughters and one son-in-law, Katherine and Clint Collins, Alexandria Miller, Isabella Miller all of Tallapoosa, and Cassandra Miller of Bremen; one son, Austin Miller of Tallapoosa; father, Anthony Akin of Tallapoosa; one grandchild, Jake Collins; and a number of other relatives.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
