Chasity Dawn Cohran Parris, age 42 of Waco, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025.  Born in Carrollton on November 15, 1982, she was the daughter of Shelby Swann Cohran and the late Timothy Cohran.

A country girl at heart, Chasity enjoyed spending time outdoors around the campfire.  Stargazing at night with her husband was one of her favorite things to do.  Her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Mark Parris of Waco; her children: Breanna (Zyler) Jarrell of Buchanan, Xander Patterson of Waco, Zoey Patterson of Bremen, Cheyanne Parris of Temple, and Owen Parris of Temple; and her mother, Shelby Cohran of Buchanan.  Also surviving are her brother, Casey Cohran of Buchanan, her precious grandchildren, Timothy Jarrell and Max Parris, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Chasity will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tracy Cole and Brother Shane Wade.  Interment will follow in the Piney Woods Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
