Charlotte Ann Duncan

Charlotte Ann Bollen Duncan, age 83 of Villa Rica, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026.  Born in Rome, Georgia, on November 27, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Willard Lee Bollen and the late Pearl Evelyn Akins Bollen.  In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Duncan; her son, Dallas Keith Hale; and her sisters Betty and Marcia; aunt, Doris.

Charlotte's passion was spending time with her family.  She enjoyed cooking for them and sharing laughs.  Always looking for that special treasure, Charlotte enjoyed going to yard sales and spending weekends at the flea market.  Her guilty pleasure was visiting casinos and vacationing in the mountains.  In her younger years, Charlotte enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  Her gentle spirit and beautiful laugh will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Lora Cokinos, Christopher Jack Mayfield, Joey Lee Mayfield, Sr, and Shannon Lee Gene Hale; her precious grandchildren: Lindsey Hale, Cheyanne Hale, Brooklyn Hale, Shannon Hale, Collin Mayfield, Joey Mayfield, Jr. and Brandon Hale; her brother, Dusty Bollen; her sweet great-grandchildren, Zyhidan, Conner, and Kalyann; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Charlotte Duncan will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, May 1, 2026, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel. 
She will be laid to rest with her family at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockmart, GA.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from Noon until 2:00 PM.
