IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Wayne
Kincaid
February 19, 1947 – December 4, 2025
Charles Wayne Kincaid, age 78 of Buchanan, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 19, 1947, he was the son of the late James Marvin Kincaid and the late Elsie Jackson Kincaid.
Wayne was a simple Christian man who showed kindness and humility to all he met. He proudly served in the United States Army, enlisting in 1968. While in the Army, he spent more than a year in Germany, and upon discharge, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Wayne was employed for Delta Airlines and retired after a remarkable 34 years and 10 months of service. In his leisure time, he enjoyed camping with his family at West Point Lake. His favorite time was sitting around the fire telling stories and enjoying his family's company. Wayne also enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan and had enjoyed taking care of his beloved boxer, Mylo, for years. The quiet country life was perfect for Wayne, as he spent many hours watching the cows and wildlife.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons and daughters-in-law, Sean Kincaid of Fayetteville, Justin & Casey Kincaid of Buchanan, and Kyle & Cristy Kincaid of Theodore, Alabama; and his precious grandchildren, Owen, Hudson, Corbin, and Kaylin. Also surviving are his brothers, Danny (& the late Connie) Kincaid of Newnan and Tommy & Toni Kincaid of Luthersville; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
The funeral service for Wayne Kincaid will be conducted on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joey Meeks officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
