CWO4 Charles Raymond Priest, (U.S. Navy Retired), age 68, of Bremen passed away Monday, September 19, 2016.  Mr. Priest was born in Buchanan, Georgia on September 30, 1947.  He was retired from the United States Navy.  He also owned Yesterday's Antiques in Bremen and was very involved in the Bremen Liar's Club (Car Club).  Mr. Priest was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Cook Jackson and his sister, Betty Priest Shedd.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Allen Priest of Bremen; former wife and business partner, Gail Priest of Bremen; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Justin Denalsky of Bremen; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Cathy Priest of Marietta and step-daughter and her husband, Julie and Tom Dunn of Buchanan; step-son and his wife, Michael and Trina Jackson of Bremen; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Chisper Jackson of Bremen; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Phil King of Bremen; step-father and his wife, Buck and Carrie Jackson of Bremen; brother-in-law, Hubert Shedd of Bremen; grandchildren, Eve Wright, Ava Denalsky, Julian Denalsky, Abigail Priest, Claire Priest and Benjamin Priest; step-grandchildren, Caleigh Jackson, Casey Rogers and Ashley Kern; great grandchildren, Oakley Wright, Noah Kern, Nash Kern, Luke Thomaston and Lori Thomaston; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the family residence located at 991 Corinth-Poseyville Rd., Bremen, GA  30110 with Mr. Tyler Smith officiating.  Following the service his cremated remains will be buried at sea with full military honors by the United States Navy.
