Mr. Charles Lee Perry, age 54, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015.  Mr. Perry was born in Tallapoosa, Georgia on September 12, 1960.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Leonard Perry.

Survivors include one daughter, Krista Johnson of Tallapoosa; one son-in-law, James Johnson of Tallapoosa; companion, Barbara Corder of Buchanan; mother, Evelyn Lyle Perry of Buchanan; one sister, Patsy Lynn Hicks of Tallapoosa; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Sandra Perry of Bremen and Jerry and Phyllis Perry of Muscadine, AL; one grandchild, Jaedyn Johnson; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Raymond Cash officiating.  Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery in Buchanan with Rev. Richard Brannon officiating at the graveside.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: James Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Greg Hulsey, David Swanger, Richard Brannon, Tony Hall, Jon Priest and Colby Boyce.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those desiring to do so make a contribution to assist with funeral expenses.
