Charles Herbert Muse, age 87 of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024.  Born in Carrollton on June 13, 1937, he was the son of the late Loy Jordan Muse and the late Lillian Frazier Muse.  In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his daughters, Delores and Judy; a son, David; a sister, Susan McGuire; and six brothers, Hardy Dixon, Jimmy Muse, David Muse, Johnny Muse, Mark Muse, and Mike Muse.

Charles could work on anything mechanical, including small engines and vehicles.  He was also a skilled lawn mower repairman and electrician.

Survivors include his children, Melissa, Tammy and Luke; his sister, Janie Kilgore; his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Sharon Muse; long time companion, Sheila McGuire; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, Charles will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
