Mr. Charles Steven Melson, age 53, of Temple passed away Friday, November 11, 2016.  Mr. Melson was born in Maryville, Tennessee, on December 12, 1962.  He was a truck driver with YRC.  He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Melson.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Shaun and Stephanie Melson of Carrollton and Joshua and Shacey Melson of Temple; mother, Linda Perky Melson of Locust Grove; three sisters, Deborah Johns, Sandra Lee and Tammy Kowen; three grandchildren, Addesyn Melson, Sawyer Melson and Emelyn Melson; and a number of other relatives.

There will be a visitation Monday, November 14, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, he will be cremated following the visitation.
