Mr. Charles Jeffers, Sr., age 82, of Buchanan passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was born on June 9, 1937 to the late Homer Jeffers and the late Ruby Bonner Jeffers. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jeffers and one son, Charles Jeffers, Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Becky Colbert of Waco; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Christie) Jeffers of Buchanan; one stepdaughter, Melissa Rowell of Bremen; one brother, James Jeffers of Concord, NC; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Rodney Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
