Mr. Charles "Chuck" J. Jeffers, Jr., age 52, of 195 Bill Ploof Rd., Buchanan passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. Mr. Jeffers was born in Dalton, Georgia on June 6, 1958. He was the son of Charles J. Jeffers, Sr. and Barbara Anne Smith Anderson. Mr. Jeffers was a plumber.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kristina Jeffers of Newnan, Kimberly and Patrick McKinnon of Carrollton and Amanda and Matthew Strange of Bowdon; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Caryn Jeffers of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Becky Colbert of Waco; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Christie Jeffers of Buchanan; father, Charles J. Jeffers, Sr. of Buchanan; mother, Barbara Anderson of Waco; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ricky Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Michael Jeffers, Louis Reganos, Tim Pendley, Walter Ledford, Ben Phillips, and Jacob Phillips.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:P.M.
until 9:00 P.M.
